Choir Practice

Wednesday Bible Study
As a reminder, the Bible study scheduled for Wednesday, 22 October 2025, is cancelled due to Fr. Gregory’s travel obligations.
Catechumen class will resume on 29 October 2025, followed by the Bible study on 07 November 2025.
If your transgressions are many and incurable, it was for this very reason Jesus Christ came from heaven. He came for the incurable, for that which we cannot cure, to heal the incurable.
Vespers and Liturgy - 20th Sunday after Pentecost
This coming Sunday, 26 October 2025, is the 20th Sunday after Pentecost and the commemoration of the Holy and Glorious Great-martyr Demetrius the Myrrh-gusher of Thessalonica (+306) and the Venerable Theophilus of the Kyiv Caves (+1482), among other saints.
The readings for this Sunday are:
- 2 Timothy 2.1-10 (Epistle, Saint)
- John 15.17–16.2 (Gospel, Saint)
- Galatians 1.11-19 (Epistle)
- Luke 7.11-16 (Gospel)

Parish Council Meeting
The parish council will hold a meeting this Sunday, 26 October 2025, during coffee hour. This meeting replaces the previously postponed meeting.
SOCKtober - Socks, Hats, and Gloves
Socks, hats, gloves, as well as non-perishable food items, are still being collected for our St. Caritas (Charity) giving pantry. The pantry is routinely used by members of the surrounding community and any help is greatly appreciated. All donated pantry items can be placed in the designated bins in the restroom hallway.
Coffee Hour Sign Up
Calling all potential coffee hour sponsors! We are looking for a few people to sponsor coffee hour during the first part of 2026. An online sign-up will be available next week if you would like to join the coffee hour sponsor rotation.
Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA 24th Regular Sobor
Fr. Gregory, Jacob C., and Brian D. attended the 24th Regular Sobor (i.e., clergy-laity council) of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA in South Bound Brook, New Jersey, on 16-19 October 2025. It was a fruitful time! Read more about the Sobor on the UOC of the USA website.
