In your prayers please continue to remember Metropolitan Antony, Archbishop Daniel, Fr. Gregory, catechumens (Rob & Stacy M., Michael F., Nicholas M., Michael H., James T., Tom B., and Nicholas & Taylor R.), new mothers and babies, the betrothed, the married, the sick, the poor, travelers, those impacted by war and calamities, our country, and those in need.
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men,... — 1st Timothy 2.1
The Feast of the Entry of the Most-Holy Theotokos into the Temple (21 November) commemorates the act of Joachim and Anna, who in thanksgiving for the gift of their daughter, brought their child to the Temple in Jerusalem to consecrate her to God. Tradition held that she was to remain there to be educated in preparation for her role as Mother of God.
If you enjoy coffee hour on Sundays after the Liturgy, please consider signing up to be a coffee hour sponsor. Pair with a friend and take a slot! The more people signed up, the lighter the load. Men are welcomed and encouraged to sign up! See Tracey Hand for more details.
