In your prayers please continue to remember Metropolitan Antony, Archbishop Daniel, Fr. Gregory, catechumens (Nicholas & Taylor R., Rob & Stacy M., Michael F., Tom. B., James T., and Samantha T.), new mothers and babies, the betrothed, the married, the sick, the poor, travelers, those impacted by war and calamities, our country, and those in need.
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men,... — 1st Timothy 2.1
If you would like to take home blessed water for personal use, please bring a container (i.e., any sealable water container will work. Many people use mason jars and regular water bottles. Anything to dedicate to storing holy water will work.) For those that may not be familiar with the blessing and use of water, in the Orthodox tradition it is common to keep and use holy water for personal blessings of self, family, and home, for drinking (e.g., as water or a few drops in coffee), etc.
Our regular Bible study will be taking a break during the Nativity season and will resume on

We are happy to announce the wedding of Caitlin B. and Rdr. Jacob B., as they will be united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony on
Friday, 16 January 2026, at 5:00pm, in our church. Please keep Jacob and Cailtin in your prayers as they approach this joyous day.
As our parish is grows (Glory to God!), we are looking for volunteers to fill the greeter role to offer a hello to new visitors, point them to a copy of our visitors service book, guide them to a seat/spot in the nave, etc. If any member of the St. Basil Brotherhood would like to be a greeter, see Brian D. for more information or check your email for a separate St. Basil Brotherhood email.
If you enjoy coffee hour on Sundays after the Liturgy, please consider signing up to be a coffee hour sponsor. Pair with a friend and take a slot! The more people signed up, the lighter the load. Men are welcomed and encouraged to sign up!
See Tracey Hand for more details.
